How the entries are created
When an event is recorded
- The band of the market climate changes. Band limits: Cautious 0 to 39, Mixed 40 to 64, Favorable 65 to 100.
- The state of volatility or of the credit signal changes.
- The share of titles in the Cautious state rises by at least 8 percentage points within 5 trading days.
- The volatility measure of the overall market stands 25 % or more above its level five trading days earlier.
The entries are created automatically from the daily record of the Market Barometer and are not overwritten; a correction appears as a labeled new entry.
Only days of the same calculation version and only days with complete components are compared. After an event, the same kind stays quiet for five trading days. Only figures and states of the overall market are shown, no single titles.
